GENERAL FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Director of Property Management, the Property Manager (Properties) will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of CUPE’s leased and owned office facilities across Canada.  This position requires extensive knowledge in the field of property and lease administration within a commercial real estate environment.

The key responsibilities of this position include the management of CUPE property assets, including the development and implementation of programs covering preventive and corrective maintenance, health and safety, security and asset protection, energy and environmental assessments at all locations to ensure that facilities are safe and functional for CUPE employees and that they are operated cost effectively. The Property Manager (Properties) is also responsible for the management of capital and operating projects and processes, including contractual, financial, and technical/engineering aspects, as well as monitoring of assets viability and utility through life cycle management principles, recommendations on capital improvements and redevelopment to ensure optimal utilization of lands and buildings in accordance with CUPE real estate objectives and goals.

WEEKLY SALARY RANGE: $2,507.19 to $2,562.39**

** If the successful candidate is deemed to be bilingual, a bilingual bonus of 7% will be applied.
