We elected our Negotiating Committee Members
From Custodial: Kathy Marshall, Member of the Union for 34 years & Sheryl Barnum, Member of the Union for 30 years. From Maintenance: Carey Schafer, Member of the Union for 30 year & Ryan Smith, Member of the Union for 5 years. The elected members will be joined by our local president and CUPE National Representative.

Negotiating Committee
This committee shall consist of five (5) members, comprising the President, two members elected at a Custodial Unit Meeting, and two members elected at a Maintenance Unit Meeting.
The function of this committee is to prepare collective bargaining proposals and to negotiate amendments to the collective agreement. The CUPE Representative assigned to the Local shall be a none-voting member of the committee and shall be consulted at all stages from formulating proposals, through negotiations, to contract ratification by the membership.
